My heart soared at the news of this but landed with a thump on the books arrival. What a disappointment. Nice try though.

It starts with the cover. Why for god sake not give it the cover embellishment that a book like this deserves? In the preface, the 1983 Weiser edition is cited as being part of discovery experience. Did they not look at the cover? When I hold a first edition of any of A.C.'s in my hands...well, you know what I mean?
The preface, introduction and end note. Why? In a book with this content, in my opinion, it only serves to drag it down. It had the potential of being something very special. Other peoples experience and opinion serve no purpose, once again, in a book with this content. So much work and effort went into this...maybe I just held out to high of hopes for it? It could have been a talismanic work.
I know. I can hear the voice asking, what do you expect for $25.00 asshole, and you're right. I will take it afield with me and not worry about the rain. The nicer copies can stay home.

93.
definitely a worthless edition, not even good for bibliomancy. It would have made more sense to just publish the Class A material.
When will thelemites learn that sloppy scholarship leads to (self) damaging editorial enterprises?
Leave this art to those who have learned it, for god's sake.
Not surprisingly, I found consolation in the new edition of "The Drug & Other Stories" and its great editorial notes. P. 637 announces a new edition of the Holy Books with "expanded Egyptological appendix".
Given the material cited in the other notes, the new edition looks extremely promising and like worth waiting for it.

@teth93..... worthless edition, seriously? Considering that the OTO print press has promised so many key republications of essential AC texts, yet produced zero apart from short stories and random equinox collections. Which are of little value. Coupled with the Holy Books out of print for many years and no sign of anyone else printing an affordable edition, even the OTO, which I find completely ridiculous, this is most welcome. It is small, compact, robust and affordable. So saying it is worthless, @teth93, shows your ignorance.
