Another unusual one from today's Times. Crossword 27,618.

6 down: His poetry attributed to Hubbard? (5)

Talking to oneself?  Spring?  Virus crisis?

There were 4 posts when everyone got on the poor man's case,

1) OP,

2) reply by azrael, then

3) a post by OP with a clue, followed by a period during which i, as one who sucks at UK-style "cryptic" crosswords (but excels at the US kind) was baffled, then

4) OP posted the (very clever (i think this word has a different nuance in the UK, that i can't quite figure)) answer.

Now we have two posts complaining. At least we are not all dead yet.

And that intrusion (the answer from Azrael) was probably posted before Alan had the chance to post it himself!

I'm not getting on poor old Alan's case at all.  I'm sure that he is a very clever man who's easily capable of finishing off the entirety of The Times crossword puzzle over breakfast most days, and has no need of demonstrating his intellectual prowess to us all here whatsoever...

Just wanting to make that point quite perfectly clear,

Which point was that?

I didn't think Alan was talking to himself, serial posting or anything other horrible crime along those lines. He was just sharing some fun stuff he found in the media (albeit old school print) relating to the Legacy of the Beast. Which I think is a bit more relevant to the site than recent posts about how crystal meth will save us from corona virus.

Or am I missing something here?
