I wonder if it might be useful for one of our numerous numerologists (see what i did there?) to compile and publish a list of numbers that aren't of terrific significance to Thelema/AL/The Great Work (apparently quite a brief list) ?
As a person who knows not much about numerology, by my reckoning, of the 101 integers from 0-100, 28 have some heavy Thelemic, Biblical, or other oomph, so 27.7% of my sample count as hits. Probably this just reflects my lack of numerology knowledge and there are way more.

So you're right, about 28. The gaps between "interesting" numbers get bigger after 100, until the numbers get too big to remember. As you can see, my numbers are almost all tied to Liber AL in some way, which reflects my obsessive "hobby" of figuring out this book.

The traditional Xian Easter celebration of Jesus' resurrection on the third day, and the likening in the Xian Bible of Jesus' followers to a bride with said Jesus as her bridegroom, is a plausible inspiration for AC's story about receiving his The Book of the Law over three days (writing one hour each day) during his honeymoon, especially in consideration of AC's lifelong strong feelings concerning Xianity.

Yes, it can be that Crowley actually directly involved his wife Rose in concocting his The Book of the Law. A rational explanation involving no "praeterhuman intelligence" an no supernatural aspects, for the evidently odd style of grammer in this book, compared with other texts written by AC:
Having worked on developing the teachings and concepts for his own Order since at least 1900 ( – as already described in detail by me earlier in this thread – ) AC's encounter with a particular ancient Egyptian artifac leads to him experiencing a breakthrough of insigh, and to work fast at incorporating said artifact within his already developed teachings and concepts.
Crowley writing his The Book of the Law fast under inpiration based on his from around 1900 already developed teachings and concepts, while simultaneously trying to superimpose those upon names and terms recently translated for him from said particular ancient Egyptian artifact, is one obvious rational explanation for the unique odd style of grammer used in this book. And as far as I know, this is the only book written by AC where he simultaneously tries to put his own spin on so many names and terms recently translated for him from this artifact.
As already mentioned above in this posting, the Xian traditional Easter celebration of Jesus' resurrection on the third day, is a plausible inspiration for AC's story about receiving his The Book of the Law over three days, writing one hour each day. And an approach that he can have used to achieve the appearance of the one hour of writing each day having occured, is to have used a timing device to keep track of the time spent during each session of writing. AC's claimed dates in the month of April, for the three days of the writing of his The Book of the Law, does of course also have some correspondence with the Xian Easter festival and holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, which also claimed to have occured in the month of April.

(and in China circa 2,000 B.C.) so what are the first written records of some sort of non-physical other who guides one? Socrates's (born not so long ago; 470 B.C.) 'Daemon'? Yes, the Lamp does seem to cast forth a most uncommon and bewitching radiance. I've even heard it said (i.e.,='hearsay') that the Order (L.'.I.'.L.'.) still exists in some form, with a symbolic fire continuously being transmitted and passed on down the ages (rather like with those torch beacon relays at the Olympics, I suppose.)
It's a nice idea but I don't know how much truth there would be in it.

I certify in red ink that I have visited the Spanish website and find find that LIL is structured along the lines of the OTO I-X degree numbering system, with the titles and/or notations of the grades following the Tree of Life in the planetary column/system, as well as keywords from both OTO and A.'.A.'. liberally sprinkled throughout the roster of grades.
They are thus (apparently) doing a Solar Lodge thing, whereby the OTO degrees and the A.'.A.'. grades are made equivalent. If the real work is required for these degrees, then it might work out for them. But, of course, they are playing with military-grade fire. Do you think I should warn them?
I certify in turquoise ink that I have visited the English website and find find that LIL to be structured along the lines of The Lighted Way, that is, their rituals/meetings appear to be open to the public. However, there is an indication that there is a hierarchy in charge, so there must be "further steps" than just going along for free.
Their Manifesto page, as expressed, is quite sound, and their philosophy is obviously Thelemic. The Lamp, their central symbol, is equated with the 1st AEthyr, LIL, and thus with Kether. They have a NYC congregation. 355 members. Do you think you should warn them?

This connection between the "Until the Book of the East be opened!", mentioned within the in 1900 written beginning of AC's book The Vision and the Voice, and the seat in the East occupied by Horus at the Equinox of the Gods, mentioned in Chapter I, verse 49, in AC's The Book of the Law written after 1900; - "... Ra-Hoor-Khuit hath taken his seat in the East at the Equinox of the Gods; ..." - indicates that AC already in 1900 in Mexico, had an idea of writing (or receiving) an important book that could be used to liberate him from his sumition "to the Four", and that could be used to find more than "Five". My position is that AC already in 1900, after his disapointment with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and MacGregor Mathers' announcement in 1900 that the founding documents of the Order, the cipher manuscript, were forged, hints at a future "Book of the East", of groundbreaking importance, with the east being the quarter of the rising light, pointing towards a new dawn, with a message indicating a new way
ahead.

Also, AC already in 1900, years before he could have seen one Ankh-ef-en-Khonsu's stele for the first time, providing hints about a future important book akin to The Book of the Law he later wrote, means that the book hinted at in 1900, could have been written even if he had never seen the mentioned stele.
And if AC had written his The Book of the Law without ever having seen said stele, or without ever having visited Egyp, i would still have been a threefold book, mentioning three grades, and be similar with respect to the content about Thelema. As Qabalah was of core importance to his Thelema, and he stated that "It has been my continual study since 1898, [...]. "From 1905 to 1918 the Tao Teh King was my continual study." Source: Chapter XXXV: The Tao (2), in Magick Without Tears.
As AC's The Book of the Law itself implies the Qabalistic Tree of Life's supernal triad (= Kether, the Crown, the spark of Godhead; Chokmah, Wisdom, the All-Father; Binah, Understanding, the Great Mother), with reference to "the threefold book of Law" (I:35. "This that thou writest is the threefold book of Law."), and "Three Grades" (I:40. " Who calls us Thelemites will do no wrong, if he look but close into the word. For there are therein Three Grades, the Hermit, and the Lover, and the man of Earth. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.").
And as AC explains his The Book of the Law by defining Ra-Hoor-Khuit as "Kether, Unity, " (source; The New Comment to BOTL II:2. "Come! all ye, and learn the secret that hath not yet been revealed. I, Hadit, am the complement of Nu, my bride. I am not extended, and Khabs is the name of my House."). Yes, this is a point you have made, and then reinforced with suitable documentation. It is a valid point, and (as I said) "These things can take a few years" (especially when we count The Labor of Preparation.
