AC2012 has a post up about the new blasphemy law in Ireland and asks the question,"Does this make Thelema illegal inIreland?" Also includes 25 blasphemous quotations.

Here is the blog post:

Also check out the Facebook page where it appears someone has delivered the 25 quotations to Ireland's Minister for Justice:

93,

"I cling unto the burning Aethyr like Lucifer that fell through the Abyss, and by the fury of his flight kindled the air.

And I am Belial, for having seen the Rose upon thy breast, I have denied God.

And I am Satan! I am Satan! ..."

A blasphemy a day keeps the priests away.

For the sake of transparency - although it's admittedly pretty transparent to begin with - when you and your chums use the "Recommendations" forum, it would probably be better form to indicate from the outset that you're recommending your own sites.

Erwin, are you a LAShTAL.com administrator?

Do you think I need to be an administrator to point out that it's bad form to pretend to be giving a third-party recommendation when you're actually indulging in deceptive self-promotion and sock-puppetry?

It's not a question of breaching LAShTAL.com guidelines - it's a question of basic honesty and openness in your dealings with people. If you can't see that, then I think that says a lot about you.

I thought it was pretty obvious to most people and therefore it didn't even occur to me that I should painstakingly write a disclaimer.

I am not sure how it is your business or why you feel it is appropriate or necessary to lecture me on the content of my posts. It's only a minor annoyance... but descending into insulting accusations of dishonesty goes too far. I'll thank you to cease this personal attack and as the Prophet says, "Mind thine own business."

So, when you wrote things like "hadn't seen anything here about it, so thought to post a link", "it is a curiosity which I thought would be relevant to post" and "looks like at least some of the site has now also been translated into Spanish", you thought that would make it "pretty obvious to most people" that it was your own project? Really? Do you seriously expect anyone to believe that?

As I said, I think the fact that you think it's inappropriate for someone to call you out on what you were doing says a lot about you, as does your melodramatic misrepresentation of it as a "personal attack". That being said, I note that you've now clarified your interests in the matter and will therefore not press you further on it.

Your first comment here admits that it was "pretty transparent to begin with."

Do you think anyone would believe that I was trying to pretend this was not me? Like anyone who knows my work would have any trouble attributing it to me? Ridiculous.

Good day.

Yes, because you did a rather hamfisted job of pretending it wasn't you, and I make a habit of paying attention. The multiple posts, coinciding with you, Mr. 131, and Mr. Oz all mysteriously chiming in to congratulate that other misrepresented band-of-chums project you lot have been promoting here, is what started to give the game away, before you accidentally gave up the pretense altogether in this thread. Before that you were being a lot more slippery, as evidenced by your own words that I quoted for your convenience.

Yes. I do, for one. For instance, does your name appear anywhere on that AC2012 site? Why not, if you're not trying to pretend it isn't you? Why adopt a different identity for that particular purpose? Why not put in the miniscule amount of effort required to turn "hadn't seen anything here about it, so thought to post a link", for instance, into "hadn't seen anything here about this project of mine, so thought to post a link"?

Oh, I see, so you were only trying to deceive people who aren't familiar with your work, then? Which, of course, will be the same "most people" you earlier claimed it would be "pretty obvious" to, right?

You really need to practice keeping your story straight.

I think your obsessive and paranoid conspiracy theories speak for themselves.

Anything else you'd like to say about this, Erwin?

No. And if in the first instance you'd simply come out and said "yes, Erwin, you're absolutely right, I don't want to run the risk of inadvertently deceiving anyone and I'll be sure to be clear about my connections in the future" like any reasonable and conscientious person would have done, instead of coming out with a raft of indignant and defensive excuses to try and justify your odd behaviour, I'd have said a lot less on the subject than I did to start with, and you wouldn't have made such a spectacle of yourself.

I'd just like to take a moment to thank IAO131 for posting the only on-topic comment in this thread.
