National Emergency Library: ebooks, including AC, RAW, Fortune, Regardie
I posted this in the COV-19 thread, but thought it deserved greater prominence:
The Internet Archive has created the National Emergency Library, making almost a million and a half ebooks available for 10 days' borrowing with no waiting periods, due to the COV-19 emergency.
The "Nation" is the USA; under the doctrine of "fair use" and with physical libraries closed, IA are eliminating restrictions on multiple people "borrowing" the same pdf at once. The service is available to all internet users in all countries. Requires installing an Adobe app to view the files.
Many textbooks and scientific texts are available, and enough mystery stories to keep me occupied if this lock-down lasts a year.
And a few items of interest to folks here, including the Sutin bio, The Qabalah of AC, King's Magickal World of ..., Skinner's Diaries of the Beast 666, Moonchild, AL, MITP.
All the searches i've done turned up at least a few books likely to be of interest to folks here: eg, RAW, Fortune, Regardie.
So we all will have plenty of reading material during the worldwide lock-down.
Free stuff!!! Are you voting for Bernie Sanders?
Interesting attempt at trolling, wrwb!
But you are behind the times. As yesterday's $2.2 trillion-with-a-T COV-19 economic bailout bill demonstrates, "We are all socialists now" in a time of crisis.
Every single Republican Senator able to vote (4 are in quarantine because of COV-19 concerns) voted for "free stuff" by the metric shitload.
ignant666: ""We are all socialists now" in a time of crisis."
Yeeeees! RTC, "We are all socialists now" in a time of crisis.", so please provide us with your Horus Toy(™) for free under these dire circumstances, so that "This shall regenerate the world, the little world my sister, my heart & my tongue, unto whom I send this kiss." (BOTL I:43)
Oooops, that BOTL quote is actually from I:53. But anyway, RTC, I hope that you in providing us with your Horus Toy(™), for free or not for free, provide our world with something which is useful also for those totally ignorant of Aleister Crowley and his Thelema, and something which is useful also for those who couldn't care less about AC & his Thelema.
