VNV Nation - All Our Sins (Samsara MV)
Xerxes feat Aleah - Inhale
Artful video of dissolution set to steady downtempo trance music.
A few nice albums from 2019, which I think will appeal to the tastes of LAShTAL's users.
Oh Sees - Face stabber (Together Tomorrow is very good)
A happy new year to everyone, even those of you who have called me a Nazi.
II:76 continues to echo Crowley wisdom improving Cabala reception. This time Liber Samekh in one of the threads. From Trigrammaton to a note on ON returns a helpful reference to initiatory correspondence. A path in the old aeon attributed to Scorpio switched to Virgo in the new 27 arrangement presenting a problem that needed grounding in Thelemic lit for resolution.
in the new Aeon the Hierophant is Horus (Liber CCXX, I, 49) therefore the Candidate will be Horus too. What then is the formula of the initiation of Horus? It will no longer be that of the Man, through Death. It will be the natural growth of the Child.
The Moon and the Nightspirit - The Secret Path
Superficial charm is today's theme. Often harmless when unaccompanied by maliciousness, it can be dangerous if it causes a person to let down their guard against harmful individuals. For example, a person prone to manic outbursts when they don't acknowledge their behavior, or worse justify such, could try to placate without doing the deeper healing work perpetuating a cycle. In other cases, combined with weasel words can create an illusion of authority within a community to new comers. Leadership qualification predicated upon wind.
All part of psychic self defense.
Oceansize - The Charm Offensive
Musical style is similar to ISIS and Tool.
Who was it who did that old classic "Jesus, Would You Stop Already With The Butt-Hurt Whining?" again?
Can't find a video anywhere...

Not sure what you're going on about, but marijuana use can affect perception and facilitate emotional outbursts. Try those banishing rituals again to get yourself under control.
To make lemon-aid from ignant's sourpuss post here is a great song

I believe "Jesus, Would You Stop Already With The Butt-Hurt Whining?" was the b-side of the much better-known "Passive-Aggressive Boogie".
I could have sworn it was by Wes "Cry-Baby" Weiss And His Syncopatin' Toddlers, on Water Bottle Records around 1937, but can find no evidence whatever that there ever even was such a record.
Most vexing; i may go and have an emotional outburst.

Does this have anything to do with the forum? What are you referring to?
Let it all out that these are the things you can do without.
Of course- "Jesus, Would You Stop Already With The Butt-Hurt Whining?" is by Walter "Whiner" Weiss And His Toddlin' Syncopators, and not at all by Wes "Cry-Baby" Weiss And His Syncopatin' Toddlers.
An easy mistake to make, of course, given the very similar band names.
Another favorite record i just can't seem to track down is "Don't You Smoke Them Reefers Baby", by The Harry Anslinger Orchestra Featuring The Tap-Dancing Narcs.
Does this have anything to do with the forum?
As much as Tears For Fears, yes. Just discussing some of my favorite music- isn't that what this thread is for?

Ok boomer.

Such wit in one so young, and Canadian to boot! Truly i am stricken with jealousy at the cleverness of this devastating riposte.
Here is a song of which some may disapprove, recorded in 1927, three years before my late father was born:
Fats Waller "If You're A Viper (The Reefer Song)"
Oh my! Such a setlist and such a woman...
Radiohead does a great cover of Union City Blues too
Further to psychic self-defense: Be wary of those using suggestion for harmful and, particularly, self-serving ends. In the more hostile situations, often hypothetical accusations are thrown in an attempt to weaken and make the victim vulnerable to further attack. Often, in online situations, this could be an attempt to try to prompt others to attack the victim or perceive them negatively.
Fortune recalls a good example of this in one of her books when a woman she worked for as a youth tried to get Fortune to affirm the woman's suggestion that Fortune lacked competence and self-confidence. The woman kept the pressure up unrelentingly. Fortune, though inexperienced, never gave in. Although the ordeal did have some temporary effect on her well being.
It's also important to keep the point of the following quote in mind in these matters:
The person from whom it emanates may not have originated it. Therefore we should never respond to attack by attack, thus bringing ourselves down to the moral level of our attackers, but rely upon more humane methods, which are, in reality, equally effectual and far less dangerous to handle.
In my experience one of the reasons it's important to keep that moral ground is that as soon as it's given up the attacker will play victim, try to make the one attacked appear the aggressor and run behind the skirts of authority and social protection.
What's important to watch for is when they are forced to change tactics. Often it reveals their weakness not the victims.
This reminds me of an event after I first read that book(Psychic Self-Defense). I was working at the counter of a metaphysical bookstore and suddenly felt like I was being psychically attacked. Luckily, there was a lull in customers and in that pause I intuitively surrounded myself with sodalite, consciously entered into meditation and began to perform a particular ritual in my body of light. As I'm about halfway through, the backroom door slams open and towards the counter charges my employer's new boyfriend who immediately accuses me of blocking him because I work with evil forces. He went even further to say that if I didn't let him do whatever he was doing it confirmed I'm in league with these undefined evil people. Of course I told him that his accusation is ridiculous, that it was well established I'm independant and hadn't ever considered contacting a group, let alone joining one. He was furious and stormed off. It was a failure, but not his last. This leads to the sex magick death spell story, but there's still more to fill before getting to that.
The fellow who introduced me to Achad's Chalice of Ecstasy also listened to some good music. How he used to persist I get and use a copy of A Pictorial History of Magic and the Supernatural as an altar book and talisman. His group was apparently buying up all copies they could find. When I saw a copy of that book used as an altar book in a clip posted on Lashtal I was immediately reminded of them. Not surprising others found value in that book on their own and used them the same.
Faith No More - Be Aggressive
Walter "Whiner" Weiss And His Toddlin' Syncopators of course followed up "Jesus, Would You Stop Already With The Butt-Hurt Whining?" with the well-known ditty "Sweet Suffering Moses, Is There No End To Your Self-Pity And Narcissism, You Whiner?", again on the Water Bottle Records imprint. Doesn't seem to be available online either- perhaps i will digitize my old 78 rpm shellac pressing.
isn't that what this thread is for?
I thought this thread now more or less solely constituted XON/ mal's personal playlist to show off his cool & 'switched on' taste in music to us, and had been so for some months now (with the odd exception)?

One further thought on psychic self-defense since this is going so well:
Fortune's account with her employer showed that the employer's tactic was like it was on rails. That focus and alignment gives the attack singular direction for the momentum of malice, but it makes the attack predictable. It's always the same.
In my experience when such attacks involve multiple people it's usually the same individuals who get involved using the same vectors of attack with the same intent. It may not be organized and simply a result of convenience and other perceptible factors that allow a simple outlet for the spite and malice inherent to the individuals. Although, when it involves people that claim magickal/spiritual development their engagement should be questioned and their behavior closely watched since they should be able to control such things. If they're not able to stop then it could be an indication of something bad going on with them that may have control of them on a subconscious level prompting their actions.
Fortunately, such attacks to the initiate are usually part of an ordeal and can be used as a means to learn and grow or, in certain cases, to teach as well.
This all brings to mind the Fourth Way, conscious behavior and a song

Funny way to show this isn't (your personal playlist, sounding board etc...)

Well chosen song for a video that shares some comedic elements with Gowan's Criminal Mind.
Her 2020 CD makes it's appear like Hey Moon had been released the year before.

This is a crazy thread. It seems to be an uncharacteristic "anything goes" on Lashtal.
I'll post here, though. Lashtal has been a part of my life for many years now. So this goes out to all the wonderful folk who post here. From Ian Rons to Charles Papapetrou. We have had such fun even as we fought. In the end...

Saw him live years ago. Was such an amazing show. He was such a talented human. Great dancer, guitarist, songwriter. And apparently a hell of a basketball player.
Obel's Island of Doom and Broken Sleep are recent releases. New album February 21.
Destiny made her way and found you in a room,
They told me, they told me:
To undo the rule of mind and body,
And nature laughed away as their voices grew.
They told me, They told me:
