Anyone know why the book "Commentaries On The Holy Books and Other Papers" is out of print? It seems like with all of the other books being run in new editions, an overflow of other available titles, and such that this would be more readily available. Is this a copyright issue possibly? It seems like such an essential book and is one of the only titles missing from my library, and I don't have the $140 + for a copy.

😀 F.T.
The original printings in hardback and paperback sold out. Very few Thelemic books stay constantantly in print, the revised "Perdurabo" is about the only one I can currently think of.
I see from Sabazius' Facebook posts that a new hardbound printing of "Holy Books" is coming out soonish. "Commentaries" is sure to be reprinted, eventually, but there's already a lot of "future releases" in the works by editor Bill Breeze, as other threads here have discussed ad infinitum that are already in line.
Nice to hear about the new HC "Holy Books"!Â
Yes, he was asking what sort of binding folks would like to see on the limited edition of it. Apparently either the contractual obligation they had on this volume is over, or a new printing is being authorized for the publisher. Either way, I'm holding onto my HB 1983 1st Ed. 😉

That's great to hear a new hardcover version of The Holy Books is due for eventual release. I will definitely be looking forward to that! I guess I will just have to save up and buy Commentaries unless I luck out and see a copy online for cheaper.
