From the creators of Gothick and Emme Ya comes a new album of dark ritual ambient.
Released on the birthday of Aleister Crowley it is inspired by his Liber VII.
The 14 instrumental tracks are an interpretation of the journey of the Magister Templi.

Available now from http://gothick.bandcamp.com

I really like GOTHICK. Sean (the Man behind the Magic) has kindly offered many of his tracks free of charge at various places.

There are just a FEW bands which (IMO) give audio expression to the 93 Current with conscious intent. These include English Heretic and Gothick.

It will be (of course) a matter of taste but Kidneyhawk says Thumbs Up! This is better than any of the pablum you'll catch on the radio.

"In Cefalu....we promised to be true."

93,

Kyle

"Talk about damning with faint praise..."

Explain.

I've listened to GOTHICK for YEARS and truly enjoy the work. The album "Abyss Walker" is a personal fave. Have you anything to say about the music, "HG?"

Because I find the stuff played on radio godawful beyond belief.

I used to flinch and grimace whenever I heard someone who has gotten a record contract singing off key.

Nowadays I've found myself smiling when someone on the radio sings off key.  Because it proves they're not using autotune.

It's not the kind of music I like to listen, so I'm not going to comment since my opinion would be worthless.

Well, it's worth asking...

What DO you like to listen to?

I first became aware of this in the 1980s, from members and associates of "The Temple Of Psychic Youth". There were similar affectations from them, such as "thee" instead of "the". You don't see it around so much these days, but there's a few diehards here and there.

Lots of things, but my absolute favorites are operas by Richard Wagner:

Hi folks - some interesting comments and apologies for the size of the add! As Michael correctly pointed out 'ov' is a throwback/nod to Genesis P-Orridge and TOPY. S/he saught to magickalise/pervert language by such linguistic changes. As a diehard poet and lyricist its a concept I embrace for its ability to interrupt perception and cause thought. That's all an artist can hope to achieve, to wake people from the dreams of maya.

Of course I realise musick like any other artform is a matter of personal taste, however this add is to highlight the work to those who might be interested, given it was inspired by a key Liber of Mr Crowley.

As Kidneyhawk mentioned there are some free Gothick songs out there including a trilogy of albums based on Liber Legis at http://gothick.co.uk/music/free-liber-legis-trilogy/

Agape. LVX and Liberte!
