Locusts & human flesh eating in the Bible, &‏ the two most important Holy Books of Thelema according Aleister Crowley: The Book of the Law and The Vision and the Voice:

The Book of the Law: Chapter III verse 11. : "[...] Conquer! That is enough. [...] Trample down the Heathen; be upon them, o warrior, I will give you of their flesh to eat!"

[King James Bible: Revelation 19:17-19, Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet: "17. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18. That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army."]

The Vision and the Voice: The Cry of the 16th Aethyr, Which is Called LEA
[...] "All that was ordered and stable is shaken. The Aeon of Wonders is come. Like locusts shall they gather themselves together, the servants of the Star and of the Snake, and they shall eat up everything that is upon the earth. For why? Because the Lord of Righteousness delighteth in them." [...]

[King James Bible: Malachi 2:17, Judah's Unfaithfulness: "Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we weried him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?"]

[King James Bible: (Cambridge Ed.), Exodus 10:14-15, The Eighth Plague: Locusts: "14. And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. 15. For they covereid the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.]

The Vision and the Voice: The Cry of the 2nd Aethyr, Which is Called ARN
[...]"And I am Satan! I am Satan! I am cast out upon a burning crag! And the sea boils about the desolation thereof. And already the vultures gather, and feast upon my flesh." [...]

[King James Bible: Revelation 19:17-18, Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet: "17. And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18. That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great."]

[King James Bible: Revelation 19: 19-21, Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet: "19. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."]

In the the thread "Liber L. vel Bogus - The real confession of Aleister Crowley" - http://www.lashtal.com/forum/index.php?topic=6399.150 - I write concerning Crowley's compelling "opposition to the Bible itself", and why it is likely to have influenced his choice of the (according to Richard Kaczynski in his Crowley biography Perdurabo (First Edition 2002), p. 13) Bible-inspired name Perdurabo in 1898, along similar lines to how Aleister Crowley's compelling "opposition to the Bible itself" is also reflected in how The Book of the Law is written.
