jb: it may have begun then ... [1965]

Yeah, it begun then. That's sort of what this thread is supposedly about. Not the Equinox in '65, but the one in '04. It begun then, and we're sliding along the timeline, trying to pick points where it manifested. For me, it was certainly '65, so I'll vote in elite's corner (even if, from a wider viewpoint, I say '45).

Ig: what exactly, in plain language, is this New Aeon sex magick "toy" to which you so coyly, and repeatedly, allude?

This is the same question many have asked. You know how AC constantly alluded to a IX* secret that was so simple ... but he couldn't reveal it due to obligations of secrecy? We may refer to this scenario as "the carrot." We are now being informed of the same thing, but on a deeper level, with many descriptions and allegories that describe what it is about, but not what it is. In the current case, oaths of secrecy are not claimed, but what if the pubic {not sic or typo] domain got a hold of it?

RTC describes a process of entering (going down to) primordial consciousness, and then (presumably) re-creating the world, or a portion thereof, via a sexual elevator. Okay, I can understand that metaphor. Oriental Medicine describes the life force (life) and the sexual force (sex), as well as the entire nervous system (including the brain), as being governed by the Kidney, which is the Water element. One doesn't go any deeper into primordial consciousness (the basement) that that. So I can understand that part.

But I, like yourself and others in line, still don't understand what is new.

As to the shift in consciousness (or something) due to the internet, I believe we have discussed this over and over in other forums. Like Frater LightBlazer (a computer programmer) said, "This modern technology is just great ... when it works." I guess I'll just have to keep on plugging away, as I have been, sounding the Borg-warning. There's nothing wrong with the concept of the technology, it's concern about who's running it, and how they manipulate it. (see: Google, et al). And there's always room for improvement ... like when it doesn't work). You will know when it has been perfected, for they will come to you to make an appointment for your cranial implant. Look, ma. No wires or wifi!

Getting back to the basement, primordial consciousness can be accessed without sexual activity. So, I'm still waiting for the punch line, as is everyone else who is happily reading this thread.

Ig: When can we try it at home to find out with 'certainty"?

Ignant, you were not paying attention. It is dangerous to play with this toy at home ... without adult, praeterhuman supervision.

RTC: .. and a page absolving me of any and all responsibility, liability, etc.

I was recently accused of "being here only to sell my trashy books." However, I was also here for periods of several years wherein I had no new books to offer. Essentially, I dumped new material onto LAShTAL first, stating that this material would be incorporated in some future book. This so astounded the Moderator, that he rode the elevator down to the printed word and asked, "Why put it here if you're going to put it in a book?" I replied with some bleak reasoning, which came true. But, otherwise, I've been here every day for over a decade, pumping out insights and nonsense.

You used to be a regular member here. Then you disappeared. Since then, you have come back for (essentially) two rounds ... both coincidental with the publication of a book. You wouldn't be doing what I was (falsely) accused of doing, would you?

If you disappear after this round, the answer will stand forth of its own accord.

Also, telling us that an example of the "toy" will be included in two more (future) books won't cut it. This whole thread is turning into something that would be better dealt with in the "Marketing Tricks" department of that other main attraction, now showing), Examples of The Black Lodge.

If you fail to answer the question, put before you in varying forms, within two revolutions of the earth, I will withdraw from this thread, saying, "Shame on you," and I will return to The Black Lodge thread and play around there.

"Good riddance," said the weenie.

Come on. Either play your cards with us, or stop fucking around.

What colors does the toy come in? Is it bigger than a breadbox?

Will I go cross-eyed if I play with it too much?

No, you and Ignant will both go blind ... unless you only use it 'til you have to wear glasses. You MUST not inquire into this matter any further for fear of the loss of your Sol [not sic or typo].

RTC: "Crowley did not have a hope in Hell of understanding what he’s seen (akin to Jules Verne seeing the blueprint for a space shuttle). As such, his works reflect the errors. "

At least there is  a sense of humor in AC's works. ("Along with gratitude, hope, and spirituality, as , a sense of humor belongs to the set of strengths positive psychologists call transcendence; together they help us forge connections to the world and provide meaning to life." (Page 127 in Ph. D. Josiane Parrouty's 2019 Lulu published book GROWING THE DISTANCE: Principles of Gentleness. Also "A good sense of humor is a sign of psychological health", according to Janet M. Gibson, Professor, Grinnell College. (Source: https://qz.com/768622/a-good-sense-of-humor-is-a-sign-of-psychological-health/ ).)

@therealrtc :

On a theme, the Aeon of Horus began when someone first connected male sperm with pregnancy. That one, elementary observation, ultimately changed everything.

Don't you actually mean the Aeon of Osiris here?

For entirely self-evident reasons, only Sex Magick (i.e. orgasm) carries enough ‘kinetic potential’ to convey the elevator to the basement, to where existence itself is reduced to an infinitely malleable quantum soup of potential.  The old school method of blunt force trauma is a poor second-best, but does work.

But it (the old school method) nonetheless still does work, then - in the sense of being able to, ahem, "penetrate" the basement levels?

Today, and for the first time in millennia, our world is tending towards separation, not unification.  In England, Social Media, amongst other factors, has transformed a unified country of individuals into discrete, bespoke units.  Across the board, time-honoured ‘one-size-fits-all’ establishments are becoming obsolete as the Horus Current dissolves all edifices of Osirian civilisation, from which to create our new world.

Are you saying that 'separation' not 'unification' is in effect in alignment with "The Horus Current"?  That therefore 'discrete, bespoke units' (e.g., nations regions) will be the way forward to go?Would you agree that in terms of the development of the New Aeon the structure/concept of the Tree of Life itself (over 400 years old) is overdue for revision/ evolution (=a new map) ?

The appendix is exactly where it was, is, and shall ever be. Namely, the ever-coming "The Governing Dynamics of Thelema."

Yes I realise this is the proper "official" title given in Liber Bogus where it is publicised as Parts 3 & 4 (if my memry serves me right) - but this doesn't alter the original wonderment when (if) it might appear or whether you now regard it as obsolete in terms of the new dispensation?

@Shiva

For me, it was certainly '65

But didn't its advance then falter by '72, by your reckoning?  From which it doesn't appear to have ever made a similar recovery (so far, anyway, although maybe the late 80s/early 90s might have been seen as a false hope).  Certainly en masse nostalgia for that decade (the mid-60s) has never been higher more deeply felt.

We may refer to this scenario as "the carrot."

Isn't that all a bit childeish though ?

Oriental Medicine describes the life force (life) and the sexual force (sex), as well as the entire nervous system (including the brain), as being governed by the Kidney, which is the Water element. One doesn't go any deeper into primordial consciousness (the basement) that that.

Figuring out my grasp of the imagery here: does this mean, uh, the basement will then get flooded out?  And if so, what would be the metaphorical mop (basis-wise)?

You will know when it has been perfected, for they will come to you to make an appointment for your cranial implant. Look, ma. No wires or wifi!

"Socket" to me, boyo! (I've heard of the Internet becoming "self-aware" but this is ridiculous...)

So, I'm still waiting for the punch line, as is everyone else who is happily reading this thread.

You read it here first though: it will be appearing in "666 Sex & the New Aeon of Horus" (next year) followed by "The  Paranormal Decoded" (later next year).  As in "forthcoming" in book form (cf. "The General Dynamics of Thelema" a.k.a. "The Appendix".)

Ignant, you were not paying attention. It is dangerous to play with this toy at home ... without adult, praeterhuman supervision.

I think he was though!  Ol' ig believes in living dangerously...

dj: Will I go cross-eyed if I play with it too much?
No, you and Ignant will both go blind …

That's if you're both lucky of course.  Ordinarily, it would be far worse than that: you'd end up with general paralysis of the insane.

Looks like you now have seventeen questions left, djedi.  Rushed Greetings to you too, by the way...

With joyish affections,

N Toy

@jamiejbarterDon't you actually mean the Aeon of Osiris here? - On the ball, as always!  Apologies, and thanks for highlighting my error.  I did indeed intend ‘Osiris.’

But it (the old school method) nonetheless still does work, then - in the sense of being able to, ahem, "penetrate" the basement levels? - Yes, and in the same clanky, unreliable and extraordinarily demanding manner.  Horus has dawned and gifts us with a hugely upgraded means of generating comparable levels of Magickal ‘punch,’ but with infinitely less ado.  As noted, why use carrier pigeons in preference to e-mail?

Are you saying that 'separation' not 'unification' is in effect in alignment with "The Horus Current"? - Can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs, is the adage that springs to mind.  Crowley dropped-on the mother of all omelettes!  Everything of the Osirian Aeon is fragmenting.  From the resulting broth Horus is rising like a Phoenix.  It’s the Solve et coagula thing in action.

“...Tree of Life itself (over 400 years old) is overdue for revision/ evolution (=a new map)?” – The tree is fine, though I think it’s time to place our world’s new symbols onto its creaking boughs, and see what inferences can be drawn.

“... or whether you now regard it as obsolete in terms of the new dispensation? - In all honesty, yes... Though still worthy of restoration.

@djedi  - What colors does the toy come in? Is it bigger than a breadbox? – It is just big enough to fit in your school lunchbox and comes with a little attachment to remove the unsightly hair tufting your third-eyelid.

@Shiva – Your suggestion that I sporadically thrust myself into these premises solely to ‘sell my trashy books’ is... not worthy of comment (I spend just as much time hacking members’ private messages).  I am attempting to convey a simple notion, in as digestible a form as I am able.  I have repeatedly suggested that the biggest obstacle is that of shrouding the central concept in mountains of mystic playground gossip.  You don’t seem to ‘get’ this.  Your considerable contribution to this thread reads like a potted Encyclopaedia  Metaphysica.  Heck, you even replied to wellread’s insightful question with a quote from AL – To what possible gain?  (This is Prof. Brian Cox digging out Galileo’s telescope to study a distant nebula, whilst using the Hubble telescope as an arm-rest... on Peyote.)

It is utterly futile to compare, contrast, liken or hammer this material against any other hypothetical mystical construct.  A comparable scenario last happened around ten millennia ago.  Everything you regurgitated was produced by a machine that has just been scrapped in favour of an upgraded version.

I do agree that my words sound not dissimilar to Crowley’s IXº material.  On one hand, for the last few years I have chomped at the bit to reveal this information.  On the other, I am super-acutely aware of the mischief (outright carnage) it could unleash.  On my third, Qliphothic hand, I would be naive not to acknowledge that any half-decent advertising agency could mass-produce my prototype Horus toy as a ‘must-have-it’ adult... well, ‘toy,’ and sell more units than the Ouija-Board. Somebody will, and I’d prefer it was me... At least until the inevitable “Flaming Moe” effect kicks-in.

“...won't cut it [...] If you fail to answer the question, put before you in varying forms, within two revolutions of the earth, I will withdraw from this thread, saying, "Shame on you," [...] "Good riddance," [...] or stop fucking around.” – A price almost worth paying if it prevents further, unnecessary clogging.  I’ll convey your sentiments to my HGA... who says “That, and £6.66, will get you a packet of transcendental incense sticks. LOL

Sh: For me, it was certainly '65

jb: But didn't its advance then falter by '72, by your reckoning?

Oh, yes. More than anything else, I remember the falter was imposed by United States military action, accompanied by the USA asking (?) Sandoz to stop producing its poison, plus there were The Beatles.

Let me clarify. From '65 to '69, the Age of Aquarius continued to dawn. In '69, I/we were forced to reside in rural Mexico. In '71, I re-crossed the border into the USA and was astounded to see Beatles everywhere. The cut of suit coats, and the width of neckties, had changed ... and everywhere, men had Beatle haircuts. Hey! This isn't the world I was raised in. In conjunction with certain court affairs, I noted (in the elevator, no less) that practicing attorneys (barristers, to you) looked like Beatles.

So, you see, the long haired hippies had simply cut their hair a bit shorter and gone to law school. Two Solar Lodge members, who didn't have long hair (before or after the falter) also went to law school.

But, my original statement was, "For me, it was certainly '65," and for me, it never faltered. In '72, I said good bye to Solar Lodge, and continued as if the Beatles had never beat. Society, on the other hand, reverted to a semi-normal state, but with somewhat longer hair than before, but the peace sign was tucked away in some musty closet.

jb:

Isn't that all a bit childeish though ?

Not if the childe also has the required, complimentary stich (and a piece of string helps regulate the height (the level of consciousness at which the carrot is maintained).

jb: Figuring out my grasp of the imagery here: does this mean, uh, the basement will then get flooded out?

Yes. All consciousness will be absorbed back into the watery void (Read genesis in reverse to grasp this, "The Path of Return."

... And if so, what would be the metaphorical mop (basis-wise)?

The mop would be the Air element, called "Metal" by the Chinese. It is THE MIND. (Think evaporation of water into the air. If the mind returns into activity, then one has engaged in dhyana or samadhi, and has returned to our normal, happy world. If the mind-mop does not evaporate or dispel the water, then one has entered nirvana, and nothing we are discussing here matters one twit.

jb: I've heard of the Internet becoming "self-aware" but this is ridiculous...

The Borg is a collective, so there is no central "ego" or reference point. Artificial "IAm" (AI) can be programmed into the collective, but like the human ego, it is only a temporary construct. But if this construct climbs through one's window in the middle of the night, then one has to deal with The Terminator right here on the physical plane. This is why I advocate passive martial arts like Aikido. I think Microsoft planted a Terminator in my Windows machine. That's why I am typing to you on the Linux.

RTC: I am attempting to convey a simple notion, in as digestible a form as I am able.

Fair enough. The Avatar of Synthesis repeatedly told me, "Keep it Simple!" So we (I speak collectively) are waiting for the digestible version.

RTC: I have repeatedly suggested that the biggest obstacle is that of shrouding the central concept in mountains of mystic playground gossip.

If we were to "Keep it Simple," we would say Stop the Mind, which you indicated was the case way back in one of your earliest posts ("get the mind out of the way," or something similar). As previously stated, the mountains of mystic gossip are known, in some circles, as spiritual garbage.

From this garbage heap, we (as individuals) must build our own Qabalah, which is nothing more than data that is used to Order the Mind. The mind must be ordered before it can be set ablaze or otherwise terminated.

RC: You don’t seem to ‘get’ this.

Huh? Look, EVERYTHING in these threads is mental. There is talk of liberation, change, Crowleys persons, Aiwass, Angels, and techniques. As to the "key" to it all, I "get it," completely and totally. You, or anyone else,* is invited to drop by here in A-bomb land, almost anytime, and I will be happy to introduce you to the Void.
*subject to pre-approval and a formal appointment date. Nobody has yet been turned down.

I get it. But with you coming here and explaining your discovery in words, which are mental constructs, you are going to get mental concepts thrown back at you. It's up to you to defend your dissertation. It's traditional. You don't get your PhD or your 7=4 unless your thesis makes sense and people (even one person will do) buy into your theory of the universe and proclaim you a "leader of a school of thought."

So far, the best you can do is utter words like toy, puberty, Horus, basement, etc.  Your allegories are not clear. You have not described a theory in meaningful terms ... at least not to me, and you have not described a practical practice in concise terms, which is impossible because there is no known practice for liberating the mind on a permanent basis.

You are expressing a concept in the same way that Crowley openly discussed the IX*, but in his case we find that he could also speak/write in the plainest possible English (see: Emblems).

So that's what folks are asking for here. Show us your Emblems. And if said Emblems are reserved for future publication, then you can either spill it now or drop it. If we want future redemption, we can put our faith in Jesus.

Now it may be that you are having difficulty in expressing abstract concepts in rational terms. In such a case, you should declare that your discovery is Zen-like, or Dzogchen-related, or Tao-based. But in such a case, you are hampered by the problematic curse that spans any and all Aeons: The ultimate truth cannot be expressed in words.

RC: Your considerable contribution to this thread reads like a potted Encyclopaedia Metaphysica.

That term has been applied to Crowley, LAShTAL is a mental construct, conducted on the etheric-physical plane. We cannot distribute Peyote, or induce trances via direct transmission. We are limited to words and symbols (oral and symbolic transmission). Anyone who comes here with an new or unique message, and they come along once every one to three months, must have their words and symbols in order; an order that is able to synchromesh with the minds of their audience. All have been rigorously challenged by the mental giants and accomplished mystics of LAShTAL. No body has passed the test(s) yet.

So if you think you're on to something special, be prepared to defend your position, because (so far) you're just another lunatic running through the halls of Arcania. Maybe you can explain yourself better, without saying I dont "get" it. That was the ploy used in the famous Black Lodge manifestation known as EST.

RTC: Heck, you even replied to wellread’s insightful question with a quote from AL – To what possible gain?

It was a quote in support of your concept, or a portion thereof. An agreement. It makes one wonder who has the battery inserted incorrectly.

RTC: It is utterly futile to compare, contrast, liken or hammer this material against any other hypothetical mystical construct A comparable scenario last happened around ten millennia ago..

This is a very bold statement. If it's something so unique that it is incomparable, then you have broken through into the realm of the unkowable, or else you can put it in words or symbols that we can understand. You will then either be entered into the Hall of Fame, or relegated to the list of those who have encountered The Universal Joke, but didn't understand the punch line.

RTC: A comparable scenario last happened around ten millennia ago.

Oh, so it can be compared, contrasted, likened or hammered ... against any other hypothetical mystical construct. Please advise which is correct, "futile" or "can be."

You still have another revolution and a half to write in plain English. Your offering involving 6.66 GBPs raises the banner reading "This thread is a marketing ploy."

I mean, I announce my books and videos here, too. Sometimes a meaningful thread follows. Questions are answered in plain English.

But this thread is unique. It offers a secret so powerful that "carnage" would result if it were made public. (see: Liber 333, The Universal Joke).

@therealrtc

In all fairness, if you are in possession of the ultimate secret (the one which makes © O.T.O. IX° obsolete, no less), you can found your own Outer Order.

I'd be happy to read your 7=4 thesis, and you only need to attain to the 8=3 grade to make it.

Bite thy forked tongue! If he went off and did something silly like that, we wouldn't be able to buy this great arcanum for only $19.99 would we? No, and if this new Outer Order were like a certain other, we might end up spending hundreds of thousands of dollars just to learn a little secret, not to mention how many hours of auditing, clearing engrams, etc.

Or we could just wait for the documents to leak, but that would be stealing.

@Shiva [Trigger Alert - In consequence of alcohol, my quality of infinite forbearance may have sagged somewhat.]

Aaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhh.  Stop! “Sandoz, Age of Aquarius, Solar Lodge, The Path of Return, dhyana or Samadhi, nirvana, Borg, Avatar of Synthesis, Zen-like, Dzogchen-related, Tao-based, etheric-physical plane, Arcania...”  In one post!  Are you even aware that some hard-wired Pavlovian reflex is ejecting this self-defensive spume in hope of it passing as insight, or wisdom?

Oh, so it can be compared, contrasted...”  I ask, in all seriousness, do you argue with yourself in the shower?  Your statement reeked of a sheer, bloody-minded intent to obstruct beyond the point of absurdity.

But this thread is unique. It offers a secret so powerful that "carnage" would result if it were made public” - A century ago, Crowley declared his revelation to be “a million times more important than the discovery of the Wheel, or even of the Laws of Physics or Mathematics.”  To date, nobody has yet manifested even a measurable amount, let alone a percentage of that claim. Yet, you have poured more scorn on this thread in a few days, than you have on Crowley’s dysfunctional system in X decades. During this period you have defended Crowley’s evidently erroneous system with the zeal of a Templar Knight.  Why are you so keen to trash a concept that may actually validate all Crowley’s claims?  What deviant psychological mechanism is at play, there?  I am astounded that none of the notions I’ve aired have piqued your interest.  Why are you so openly opposed to even a cursory exploration of new ideas?  Have you become so comfortably numb in you self-made Osirian tomb as to dread the bright light of dawn, lest it get all crumbly on your parchmented ass?

@serpent252 – Funnily enough, Aiwass and I were speaking of this only yesterday...  Apparently, there was great success in midway of Shiraz.  I am to formulate a new bottle of a tipple with the Solar Force.

Jeez, I picked the wrong week to kick Peyote...

dj: Or we could just wait for the documents to leak, but that would be stealing.

To avoid stealing, which U.G. says is okay, we only need to wait for a used copy, or there will certainly be reviews published, wherein one can take a free ride.

RTC: @Shiva [Trigger Alert - In consequence of alcohol, my quality of infinite forbearance may have sagged somewhat.]

Noted. With less forbearance, one's true position and/or secret and/or character will be more clearly revealed. This is why some people get other people drunk ... to learn their secrets (gathering intel), or to get in their pants (seduction libation). However, being a stereotypical Virgo (29*), I must sing the revised National Anthem before continuing:

We are the boys of No Fork U.
We don't smoke & we don't chew.
And we don't go with girls that do.
There's also no alcohol, too.
No Fork, No Fork, yea, No Fork!

RTC: Are you even aware that some hard-wired Pavlovian reflex is ejecting this self-defensive spume in hope of it passing as insight, or wisdom?

No.

If anyone here agrees with this statement by RTC, please speak up now or soon, and I will consider the error of my ways.

RTC: I ask, in all seriousness, do you argue with yourself in the shower?

No. Not at all. My argument is always with my dermatologist ... probably because I am in the practical process of cleaning my skin ... which is never tainted with the effects of ethyl alcohol, a medical poison (by definition).

RTC: Your statement reeked of a sheer, bloody-minded intent to obstruct beyond the point of absurdity.

This is a serious accusation. If any serious reader agrees with RTC, please speak or write now or soon, and I will consider any purposeful intent to block said message or book or revelation. Let me remind you ...

I Am Not a Rajah or a voyeur,
I Am Shiva the Destroyer.
I destroy illusion.

I sense , smell, or otherwise detect illusion.

Nothing personal here ... it's my job, you see?

RTC: Yet, you have poured more scorn on this thread in a few days, than you have on Crowley’s dysfunctional system in X decades. During this period you have defended Crowley’s evidently erroneous system with the zeal of a Templar Knight.

There's a whole, very recent  thread on Does Sex Magic Work? The general consensus was "No." This was because there was no evidence presented in its behalf - this in practical terms (money, jobs, Girls, guys, cars). The general consensus also included agreement that it worked well for elevation or transition of consciousness. It was also noted (even, or especially, by me) that there were other methods that worked really well (weather control, for example).

I fail to see how I have defended that paradigm.

If my memory is still intact, I believe I have done nothing but ask you to be more clear, as have four or five other defendants. While waiting for a reply from you, I have indulged in assorted expansions, most of which were on-topic.

When you do reply, you wiggle out of a clear answer. Nobody knows what the fuck you are talking about. So I comment upon your wiggling, and you become ... insulted.

Why are you so keen to trash a concept that may actually validate all Crowley’s claims?

Not guilty, your honor. How can I trash a concept that has not been explained?

What deviant psychological mechanism is at play, there?

Shivmayadarshana. Look it up.

I am astounded that none of the notions I’ve aired have piqued your interest

My "interest" has been involved in getting you to speak in a clear voice. Your notions are garbled or guarded. This is not an occult site. We enjoy tearing down veils.

Why are you so openly opposed to even a cursory exploration of new ideas?

No opposition at all. I/we just want to know what those ideas are ... in understandable English, please.

Have you become so comfortably numb in you self-made Osirian tomb as to dread the bright light of dawn, lest it get all crumbly on your parchmented ass?

"Just the facts, sir." Please explain your idea(s) in plain English. Then I/we can get down to business. Your lingo has now dropped below the level of acceptability for reply.

Jeez, I picked the wrong week to kick Peyote..

Peyote, like all psychedelic libations is not addictive and needs no "kicking." On the other hand, alcohol is addictive and should not be consumed when driving or trying to make sense.

You now have one revolution left before I retire. In closing this first revolution, I would like to remind everyone that this whole thing, the entire spiritual path, is a game. When anyone takes it seriously, they will certainly become kranky.

There is a distinctly fishy (Piscean?) odor in the air.

You can keep trying to up the ante, but eventually you have show your cards. When you are asked to do so, and repeatedly refuse, and then start getting angry at folks for asking you to show 'em, we start to think you are bluffing.

Especially when your last book came out with much hoopla about proof AC was lying about the events of Cairo 1904. Except the "proof" is in an alleged appendix that still has never been published, several years later.

Put up, or shut up.

This is what I believe is called a "hot" topic?

Is it all possible to get a succinct, comprehensive & plausible explanation, Richard old scout?  The suspense you are generating is most singular (except that it was already duplicated by Liber Boguses ruptured appendix...)

So, pretty please (avec cream & sugar),

T: And does it come with a guarantee ?

In the medical profession, and in spiritual matters, there cannot be a guarantee. Lawyers will sometimes take a percentage, so we know they will work hard. Christianity and Islam are exempt from this universal principle, so they are the only ones authorized by God to offer a guarantee or limited warranty.

I think the big secret is merely stimulating one's own genitals or having sex  whilst visualizing leaving this dimension for another through some sort of chakra door.

There you go no, need to get the book now.

@dom – Dang, you were so close.  Edit to ‘... whilst stimulating Shiva’s genitals...’ and I can scrap the book, save numerous trees and decrease my carbon footprint – Bonus, or what!

@jamiejbarterThis is what I believe is called a "hot" topic? Is it all possible to get a succinct, comprehensive...”  - How could it be other!  I have raised a possibility of solving Crowley’s conundrum and manifesting the unfulfilled promise of “... a million times more important than... in a form that is genuinely applicable for all.”  Without wishing to sound dismissive, with reference to Crowley’s own brand (plus historical efforts to get a grip of the paranormal problem in general) the ‘old guard’ have failed, woefully.  The Abbey of Thelema was a disaster.  The Solar Lodge didn’t turn out too well, either, and (I’m reliably informed) Sex Magick was officially certified as ‘dysfunctional’ on this very platform.

I have a suspicion that chained to the walls of a dungeon collectively owned by major pharmaceutical companies are numerous individuals who invented a cure for the common cold.  Why sell sniffy people an effective pill, for pennies, when they can make a great living vending hundreds of expensive placebos?  I wonder if an occult strain of this mentality is nudging Shiva’s posts.

That this thread flared prior to the work’s release was not particularly useful.  Nonetheless,  “The Inauguration of...” will be available in the next day or so (for the price of less than a glass of wine, or posh coffee).  This sketches an outline of the theory.  Early in the new year “666...” offers a practical application – From which the mental giants populating LAShTAL should have no difficulty in deducing myriad variations.  Later next year “The Paranormal Decided” maps it out for the benefit of all lost souls bereft of a grounding in Crowley’s priceless insights (i.e. the Banker, Pugilist, Navvy, Grocer, Factory Girl etc..)

@Shiva – Go on, try it. You know you want to.  It’ll be like a vigorous spiritual enema. Mmmmmmm... Cleansing.   😉

@rtc

So a side effect of this new earth shattering technique is that it makes people chronically beat around the bush and then employ defence mechanisms when called out on it?

You're not selling it too well.   Just looking like yet another book about Crowley and "it's all happening" etc.

How very mature of you. You should be proud of your intellectual ascendancy.

Your invitation to visit the New Mexico temple is hereby revoked. Your password is herewith abrogated. Your only chance at attaining salvation is to appear at the dojo in Belen (Berlin, as my brother used to mistakenly say) any Tuesday morning (10 AM), in order to get your Chi straightened out.

There is a clear long-term pattern here- RTC shows up in hype-man mode, makes grandiose claims (with evidence to be provided later), attacks everyone who asks him to produce the goods, can't/won't produce said goods, vanishes.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

"Once burned twice shy" doesn't seem to apply, since many seem to take these even more extravagant new claims at face value (or perhaps are just very polite, and are humoring him).

Color me skeptical. I spent my grade-school years in Missouri, known as "The Show Me State".

Meanwhile, RTC's appendix is getting rewritten or removed or destroyed by alcohol...somehow I think he could use some training in marketing techniques...give a taste...sell the sizzle...close the sale

Shiva said:

Maybe you can explain yourself better, without saying I dont "get" it. That was the ploy used in the famous Black Lodge manifestation known as EST.

Are you speaking of Werner Erhard's weekend seminars? I've never heard that they were Black Lodge. Care to elaborate? I have experience with their successor organization Landmark. They say "got it" a lot.

Well yeah lots of  exclamation marks  used in blurb-posts in this thread?   I believe The Black Lodge marketing people use this 'infectious enthusiasm' technique when they try to push their sale  onto a customer (i.e. sucker)….and what's this nonsense about hacking Lashtal accounts?

Also making teenage jokes about sex (Shiva's genitals etc) and wanting to teach us about sexual development or development per se via the secret toy discovered?

Anyone can see that the raging acceleration of technological novelty and the rapid breakdown of Victorian attitudes are "Horusian".   The Horus Maat Lodge formed in the mid 1970s already  stated that the post- Horusian age of Maat is the age of information and that the personal computer/internet craze is a product of this (if you believe that).    Crowley in the foreword to AL  rightly predicted revolutionary acceptance of androgyny so any of Cole's apparent  super perception or insight into what is really going on with the age of Horus doesn't look that extraordinary.

Talking of lacking extraordinariness note that the last person to push some idea of a simple revolutionary 'magical sexual' technique ready-made for mass consumption was Genesis Orridge. …... .. (sound of a tumbleweed being blown around a desert)   ...form your own conclusions there.

ptoner: "Copy arrived, interesting conversation to be had around an alternative view of Tree of Life and As Above, So Below...."

RTC, with respect to the alternative view of As Above, So Below, covered in your new book, depending on what “so” means in this formulation — is the above identical with what is below, just higher; or is the above like what is below, in the form of an analogy or a mystical correspondence? That is, is it your position that an individual by playing with the 'toy' mentioned by you in this thread, literally becomes one with the cosmic process; microcosm is united with macrocosm??

Or does your mention, RTC, of "... the opening of a new ‘Divine Path’ [which] empowers all with a new and reliable means of understanding and accessing non-corporeal realms.", not pertain to "understanding and accessing non-corporeal realms" in a literal and direct way (,but only in a symbolic, analogous, mystical and indirect way)??

Yes, No. Yes, that's the one. No, I shall not elaborate, having laid out the whole deal in The Black Lodge thread, very recently. You must have been snoozing or cruising (the dark web).

d: what's this nonsense about hacking Lashtal accounts?

It's easy. I will tell the secret for hacking into absolutely anything in my fifth book publication in the future, starting today. You will need to have all five books in order to get close, and the true secret will subsequently be published in an Appendix written in invisible ink.

"The advent of Crowley’s New Aeon of Horus affords all with direct access to the event horizon of global consciousness, down an internal sensory vortex formerly known as the supernatural - To a place where all minds converge, and to the source of creation itself. To say the very least, Horus provides a revolutionary and reliable means of exploring paranormal domains. In other words, practical Magick that works! "

RTC, if the above text, quoted (by ptoner on page 2 in this thread) from the back page of your new book The Inauguration of Aleister Crowley's New Aeon of Horus, actually is correct in all details, this appears to infer that our species is on the brink of becoming miraculous.

I'd love to jump into this "hot topic" and comment BUT I only just today received my copy of this book and have begun reading. RTC cuts right to the chase and his opening pages make me think that he and Shiva, perhaps, have much more in common than either would be inclined to think (although I also suspect that both are cheerfully tangling as ALien Brothers). Perhaps I can put together something of a review when I am done.

wr (quoting RTC): the event horizon of global consciousness, down an internal sensory vortex formerly known as the supernatural - To a place where all minds converge, and to the source of creation itself.

Yes. That you both for pointing that out. It's exactly, more or less, what I described previously in, I believe, two books. Egad, can it be true? Am I one of the chosen ones who caught a glimpse? How can we tell? Well, hell, I'll tell you what; I'll summarize and compare. If you catch even the slightest glimpse of what is being described, then you have been chose.

The event horizon of global consciousness is actually situated between Chokmah and Kether. For convenience, we may visualize it as intersecting Kether Kether. It is known as The Planetary Ring-Pass-Not by Theo-sophists. We may think of it as the magical circle of humanity.

In this case (of the supreme secret that has not been revealed), I sense that the event horizon is what we know as The Abyss.

The internal sensory tunnel vortex is a neural pathway in the brainium. This tunnel is associated with the Kundalini, the cental channel of Oriental Medicine, the Antahkarana of Alice Bailey and the eternal tibetan Mahatmas. This tunnel is often reported in near-death episodes. One can ride the tunnel (elevator) down, into the past, and toward the source of life. Or one can take the express ride up, into the future (potential), and can reach the source of consciousness. I have called this, The Line, because that's what it is, after the "tunnel" dimension has been removed. For some, it may have been called "supernatural," and for others it's now called The Quantum Circuit.

To a place where all minds converge, refers to the collective unconscious. It is also Da'ath, the Vision of Indra's Net, called by Crowley The Star Sponge.

The phrase, and to the source of creation itself, is bothersome. It is my understanding that the Source of Change can be accessed, but The Source of Creation is unknowable by human consciousness.

The source of change is not Tiphareth, but Chokmah. The Magus must attune his will to the universal Will of Atma, the universal mind ... then Atma (the higher Self, the True Magus) makes an adjustment in the configuration of the collective unconscious.

Jung explained how people used to see Angels. Now they see UFOs.

During this adjustment, the dense vehicle (who is carrying around the burden of a 9=2) also gets tweaked accordingly.

I may have misinterpreted this translation of RTC's proposal. Time will tell.

em: yes i missed that..

Okay. A search for "Werner" (not "weenie") or "EST" should take you right to the gameroom.

However, not mentioned in that thread, was the key to the early EST indoctrination, and slightly different in this thread. Here, in this thread, the emphasis is on "get" it.

In EST, the emphasis was on get "it." IT was never defined. The participants, who were held in place, peeing in their pants, for hours on end, were told, "You are assholes! You don't get it." By the end of the seminar, many (most?) people "got it," and they were so excited and radiant that they rushed out and recruited their friends. EST became extremely popular. The problem was, "it" wore off six weeks later. So a person needed to take the "advanced" seminar to get it back. And so on, leading up to regular membership.

Any descendants, derivatives, assigns, or heirs would not have been so brutal, because even EST, when still operative, had to tone it down. I don't know why, probably parents, public pressure, newspaper revelations, legal trouble, or what?

kh: Perhaps I can put together something of a review when I am done.

Such a task would be greatly appreciated.

Two revs and I'm going.

Summarium Est
This is the summary

RTC proclaimed possession of a secret, or concept. He was asked, "What is the secret, oh RTC?" Multiple times. He replied in metaphor. He implied that one needed to buy the book, perhaps two next year.

RTC obviously never intended to disclose the hidden, now revealed, info here on LAShTAL. Since we must get the book(s) before making a final decision, someone who is not living near the poverty level must do so, and give a report or a review.

The possibility exists that the following precedents may apply ...

The People vs Chicken Little.
The Queen vs The Boy who cried Wolf.
The Imam vs The Three Little Pigs.
Common Sense vs The Quantum Circuit.

RTC's appearance here was/is/and-shall-be in support of his book(s) and his revolutionary revelation. His appearance was apparently not a planned marketing ploy, but a response to a premature announcement based on a copy or copies he let loose before the official announcement.

hh: ... his opening pages make me think that he and Shiva, perhaps, have much more in common than either would be inclined to think

Yes, we have a lot in common. The "debate," though, was not a two-points of view clashing. I was not holding up a viewpoint, or criticism, in relation to his concept ... because he did not, and would not, state his proposition in clear lingo. Time will tell.

We are both Ronin, and so are you. This Ronin will now go roamin' off in searth of the lost thread, Examples of The Black Lodge. Control of this thread, and its myriad mysteries, is now returned to the next person who dares to post.

The best of luck and prosperity to you, Richard, in your publication.

@Shiva (If your discarnate presence still lingers). You announced, in the clearest terms, an intention to enter a period of silence (“... fail to answer the question... two revolutions... l withdraw from this thread...”) Why then, cometh the hour, were you compelled to stand on a table, declare that you had gone AND nail a Papal Bull (Summarium Est) to the wall on your way out?  Do you also intend to post daily reminders of your absence?  Evidently, you credit LAShTAL readers with the neither the capacity to assimilate a simple statement, or mental facilities to correlate this with your subsequent absence.  Either you have an appallingly low regard for us, or grossly elevated opinion of yourself, or both. What kind of God has walked among us?

I do not anticipate a response from you, because, as we are all acutely aware, you have withdrawn from this thread (See, we can remember!) 😭

@kidneyhawkPerhaps I can put together something of a review when I am done. Look forward to reading this.

@wellreadwellbred – Our species has always been on the brink of becoming miraculous. This is the grand prize offered by all religious/metaphysical dogma. Evolution (bless its forbearance), has now given us another doorway to glory... which we’ll almost certainly f**k up, yet again!

@ptoner – Hope you enjoy the ideas. Watch out for early symptoms of gender-fluidity.

I speak literally (i.e. The potential to cause physical, real-world change in conformity with Will).  In a very real sense, the Internet is a virtual microcosm of a corresponding physical macrocosm.  Changes in one domain are inherently reflected in the other.  The Internet enables anyone, anywhere in the world, to connect with anyone and anything else (with no prerequisite knowledge of the technicalities). Then, there’s the question of mischief manifested by cyber-Adepts.

The template of human evolution is steering us towards its next milestone – A global awareness of our innate capacity for inter-connectivity across the species, an organic Internet (old aeon words like ‘collective unconscious’ and ‘Akashic Record’ spring to mind). Indeed, the Internet is a thought-tool by which our minds (software) clarify the subconscious modifications (hardware).

For good reasons, the socket is located at the very base of our mental processes. Prior to now, it took an extraordinary degree of ‘punch’ to trawl down through the layers of consciousness and ‘connect.’ Crowley managed it once, and the experience irrevocably changed his life. My Horus Toy is a hugely upgraded way of generating this ‘punch,’ using a method elegantly illustrated by the Internet itself (every day, in every possible way).

Supernatural occurrences are snapshots through the window on a journey toward our next phase of development. The paranormal is designed to fascinate, because its primary objective is that of steering us down this evolutionary road. The Horus Toy is a ticket to ride this highway to its terminus, in hope that travellers don’t get hung-up on fellow passengers or indigenous entities.

The Horus Toy doesn’t drag a non-corporeal event(s) into a user’s world, it becomes it. Until the battery sags, participants are stuck on the train, and must to deal with whatever environment prevails. That is my grave concern

@michael-staley – I see that Calamity’s Heel has lost none of his synonymous definition.

RTC: "The Horus Toy doesn’t drag a non-corporeal event(s) into a user’s world, it becomes it. Until the battery sags, participants are stuck on the train, and must [...] deal with whatever environment prevails. That is my grave concern"

Could said 'Toy' upset the current VPOTUS as a user, by for example causing him to have inappropriate feelings or thoughts with respect to other women than his wife? Or could it upset the current SLOTUS as a user, by for example causing her to have inappropriate thoughts or feelings with respect to other men than her husbandOr could it upset the current Summus Pontifex in Rome as user, by for example causing him to have non-celibate thoughts or feelings with respect to others?

wrwb: Does "VPOTUS" means something besides "Vice President of the United States ", or is this a reference to Mike Pence, and if so, why?

Similarly, does "SLOTUS" mean something besides "Second Lady of the United States" (ie, Mrs. Pence, whom her husband calls "Mother")? Again, why?

Is it because they are the two least sexual persons you can imagine? VP Mike Pence strikes me as a major closet case, so i suspect he often has sexual thoughts about persons not his wife.

Well, RTC's "grave concern" for his 'toy', is that "Until the battery sags, participants are stuck on the train, and must [...] deal with whatever environment prevails."

Imagine someone in a powerful political position with strong end-time beliefs, for some reason ending up being stuck to a device, inducing or causing 'forbidden' feelings or thougts, until said device's battery runs out. For such a situation I find it appropriate to quote what RTC has stated earlier in this thread; "God alone knows where it will ultimately go.", and/or "Evolution (bless its forbearance), has now given us another doorway to glory... which we’ll almost certainly f**k up, yet again!"

Thank you for clarifying, wrwb.

I believe we all can rest easy here: however potent RTC's "Horus Toy" sex-magick device or practice may be, i think VPOTUS and SLOTUS Pence are likely to be among the very last terrestrials to give it a whirl.

They will not buy a "ticket to ride this [sex magick] highway", due in part to their "political position[s] with strong end-time beliefs".

Well, only RTC knows if his "grave concern" for [t]his 'Toy', includes the unpredictable consequences of someone in a powerful political position, playing with this 'Toy' in 'the closet' or 'behind the scene'.

We can only hope RTC's "Secret" is more powerful than Oprah's, or the OTO's.

I, for one, cannot wait to see VPOTUS Pence in a dress, and SLOTUS Pence in overalls and combat boots with a mullet, what with all the "symptoms of gender-fluidity" the "Horus Toy" will unleash upon an unsuspecting world early next year.

Wait - if the toy works, then, perhaps, instead of RTC telling us what it is, or how it works, he could show us what it can do... a demonstration of its efficacy. Bonus points if he can get Mike Pence to admit what the VPOTUS  (luv that milspeak) did with Pence's equine companion. Or go for all the gusto and get it to reveal what happened with the potus/flatus in the Russian hotel rooms with the ladies of the golden streams.

@dom

It is very short, whilst having read it once, (I will read it again over the weekend)  I did not get the eureka moment, that RTC claims to have recieved. For me he is simply attempting to explain how the Aeon of Horus is almost upon us (Mayan Calendar, if a little after AC had claimed), via his own interpretation of the Tree of life (falling down the tree), supernatural leakages and resulting gender fluidity and other RTC muses. He mentions how this stems from AC's Thelemic literature, albeit not exactly concise, as he struggled to formulate his experience down on paper.

Really, there is not much to broadcast to you all, yet I am sure, once you read it, these pages on LAShTAL will be full of comments and interpretations.

Usually thought of as a climb down, but sure, fall could be an option in some construct. Hope it's more than contrarianism. Is it also referring to fall as in the idea of the momentum of sin?

Are you saying that he even beats around the bush about the "Horus toy" in the actual book also?

@rtc

Could you tell Ptoner which passages on which page directly describe the "Horus toy"?

Thanks.
