Stupid thread?  RH was "started" by a Dr.  What do you have a doctorate in?

Since you ask, and not that it's particularly relevant other than in terms of having some professional training in methodological rigor, my Ph.D. is in criminology.

Well, then someone of your intellectual intelligence shouldn't have a problem with attacking my arguments using reason as oppose to just shouting me down, or doesn't it work like that?

By the way I know a Dr (a Muslim) who doesn't accept the reality of dinosaurs.  Imagine that.

"Intellectual intelligence"? Truly you surpass yourself as a prose stylist.
As to your "reasoning", see the part of post #147 that you didn't quote in responding, the bit about the limited utility of post hoc ergo propter hoc interpretations of subjective interpretations of subjective phenomena observed over a very brief period, and my several posts mentioning confirmation bias.

Yeah y'know as oppose to Physio-Biological Intelligence or Emotional-Territorial Intelligence or Social-Moral Intelligence or Somatic Intelligence or "Intuitive-Psychic" Intelligence or Mytho-Genetic Intelligence.  Nice try.

Oh, ok well I answered it in my reply to Tao who asked a similar question on page 10.

That's right, david, you did give an answer to similar concerns raised by Tao.

After a petulant outburst admitting your methods lacked rigor (your "i'm no social scientist" gibe), you admitted that it was "too early to evangelize [for "RH"]", and also admitted that you had "exaggerated" in your depiction of your co-workers' changed responses to you (surely a failure of even basic, let alone "radical", honesty?).

Gotcha!??

Yes.  It was.  As I write I still contend that it was possible that it could have gotten physical outside (particularly as said person has, literally, physically  pushed me around twice in the past).  However in line with (nit picking?) being 100% rigorous, that assertion is more predictive than observation of fact.

Now, about that analysis of Jugorum-RH comparison.

"Avoiding" and "not interested" are the same thing in my case. Even if there are similarities, so what?

In all my years on LAShTAL I've never known such a stupid thread as this, nor posts so vapid as yours.

vap·id adjective - "offering nothing that is stimulating or challenging."

Yes. I believe you've summed it all up.

They'll probably come and put me down.

Is there any way to speed up the process? Please?

Who are "they," and what is their email address. I have words of encouragment.

You've put up a good fight and seen the Truth. Welcome to the
Resigned Resistors of Radical Rhetoric.

As for Oh, Him, it's obvious that he's just pulling our collective legs and has a radical response to any and all criticisms. He has been this way from the beginning of his career with LAShTAL, and has received many warnings about his hostile attitude. Some people are just born to be argumentative, ridiculous, and inhosptable.

But, let's give credit where credit is due: He knows how to stay just a millimeter inside that line (circle? triangle?) which would get him banished/evicted/banned as a True Troll. But, slowly, some of us are coming to our senses and realizing that we should

How about, as a labour saving device & so that perhaps we all know exactly what you are on about with your contention, you comparing RH and Jugorum & just what you find to be so complimentary about them, and then we will either see what you are getting at perhaps (and agree) or not (and disagree).  Also how you manage to bring “emotional plague” into it the equation as well.  Please be as concise and as relevant as possible.

The onus is on your side here, shirley, I mean, david.

Meanwhile have a good weekend as I shall [not be around]

That's actually dishonest and downright unpleasant.  There is not one shred of hostility on my part in this thread or since my moderation, yet you open up old wounds that were long healed.  Unfortunately  there was hostility and snipey comments by other posters in this thread as I tried to defend my position and the viewpoints I have regarding the OP.  Is it me (or the fantasy you have of who or what I am) that you find threatening or is it the concept of RH?

If you resent me for rejecting the reality of the elements of Oriental medicine then say so and get it out of your system.  Be honest.  I'm not trying to invalidate you, as a healer, at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if RH does what it says and takes depressives, the isolated, the stressed and the lonely and makes them happier.  Did you think it was some sort of adolescent game or youtube prank?

J.Barter, thanks, I will answer when I have time.

If I'm being radically honest (and what better place?), I often get dragged into conversations like this around the web because I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, often without justification. The boy who cried wolf will always find me ready to defend the sheep, no matter how many times I've been fooled, because... what if this is actually the time?
