93 Everyone,
So I was wondering what is your ideas of a thelemic magick bus.  I have been throwing around this idea for quite a few years.
Now that I am getting close to being a chartered initiator. And ordained priest. The possibility seems like its more realistic.
Basically it would be a greyhound type of bus that would travel around and do masses, and travel to camps for onsite oto  initiations, of course all done in a business way.. not talking about rogue initiations.
I will use the mass as my example," for reasons we all know"..  the bus would house 6 people 3rd degree's and above. Priest, priestess, deacon, two children and musician. rolls will be interchangeable between the residents. It will include all the items needed for the ceremonies.
Along the way we could sell crafted items and so on "kinda like a gypsy".. jump into a town, or festival find a place to do a mass do it..load the bus back up and be on our way.

Now before you guys take the liberty of telling me all the hazards of living on the road in a bus let me say that I have been indoors for 5 months but before that i lived in my rv on the streets for 16 years. and lived as transient homeless for 6 years prior to that so I am VERY aware of the hardships of such a life style and have learned to be very resourceful.
Even though I had fairly good jobs during that time, like supervisor of an orchard, manager of a temp labor hall etc... I just never seen anything as permanent so didnt want to rent a place then fail a few months or years down the line when work got slow and bills got behind..Which always seemed to be my downfall when I did try renting. but anyway My point is that I have first hand experience at survival in such a lifestyle.
And it wouldn't have to be full time either Maybe do the festival circuit during the summer months.

So whats your opinion's  I'm eager to hear?  93's William

.
That is a valid question. and right off the bat all i could say who knows...the same answer I gave people before i headed across the country for a festival or rainbow gathering in my gas guzzling rv. but I always seemed to make it.  Besides being very handy at numerous money making ways on the road such as generator repair. Fix it skills, auto repair etc...it will be magick bus...so I would envision such things as incense's. Tarot readings..snake oils, etc...no use going somewhere like a Renascence faire without goods to sell. I also can sew and cloaks are cheap and easy.  I would assume the others on the bus would bring there own skills with them that they could contribute to also. Its a viable choice for those that could stand that lifestyle...and usually someone that can live that lifestyle is aware on what it takes to live it. Of course not a lot of extravagant things. but for the sake of a bad comparison the templars would ride 2 per horse. It is kind of a poor extravagance!  lol..
Also Im not talking about junkies bumming for change for a bottle either. But a group that realizes they're talents and be willing to use them as a way of self survival...If one has never dove into that subculture it is hard to believe its possibility..But at least on the coast lines there are a whole group that will easily work on a trade system..you mow my huge lawn I will buy you a tank of gas- type of thing...and now days with social networking it is even easier to find people like that.
Truthfully it would be harder to find 6 thelemites that qualify that could live in a bus in prosperity than it would be to find on the fly funding for the trip.

My god, my god - why have you forsaken me ... us?

What Shiva!!! you don't like that idea  ha ha.....  Can't you imagine a huge ra hoor/stele mural painted 1950's greyhound bus driving into town and a group of hooga boogas get off trying to sell you sage and snake oil "aka/abramelin oil". Setting up a psychic fare next to the bus...then having a drum circle that night by a campfire.  Especially if it is a town with a small camp that doesn't hardly get the chance to meet other thelemites.  I see it as paradise 🙂 .  William

So this travelling Ashram is driving through the country and stops at a farmer's house and asks if they can spend the night...
