Hi!
Can anyone provide a direct translation of the text on the Thelemic book covers, image related?
I recognize a couple of the characters but I am unsure but the whole reading. 93 thanks!

The "roundish shape" in the middle of two wings, within the top rectangle on the Thelemic book cover, is probably "The Behedite, the great god, Lord of the sky", mentioned in the text within the Bottom Centre rectangle.
Something which is probably "The Behedite, the great god, Lord of the sky", is depicted on the front of the stela of one Ankhefenkhons, that is, one particular stela used by Aleister Crowley in various versions of his origin story about his Thelema.
Ah so it is a virtual offering and adoration of Horus, splendid! Thank you for mentioning it all exists on the Stele too.

My pleasure. Actually, that's an honest comment, not a flippant remark. The life and lineage of Ankhefenkhons, his responsibilities as Priest, and the artefacts that remain (the statue with his likeness, the stela and the graffiti) are key to a real understanding of Liber AL.
In my opinion.

thanks again Paul. I still recall your presentation from the K&D Symposium with - what else? - Knowledge and Delight. Are you aware of a list of the extant artefacts of Ankhefenkhons and his family?

I think he is referring to https://web.archive.org/web/20071026235408/http://www.kent.net/DisplacedDynasties/Tomb_of_Petosiris.htm
are there any Thelemic studies of the tomb yet?

No, I wasn't referring to that - I was referring to the statue, stela, genealogy and graffiti - as shown here:

Did you take the picture of image 9? Sure as hell looks like a face where a sign must of been placed.

"... like black holes in the sky"?
. . . your presentation from the K&D Symposium with – what else? – Knowledge and Delight.
Would there be a transcript of this on Lashtal somewhere, Paul? I for one would be interested in reading it.
I like the incorporation of the two djed columns on either side of the cover into the overall book design as well.

Those are two very small holes that were thought to have been used for 'hanging' the stela. Current thinking is that they were used for the fixing of Mentu's 'plumes'.
