I have included "The Fish" since, although it is only a fragment, enough is extant to get a good idea of what the novel would have been like if completed.

Please give the reason for your choice!

Markus, 93!

I love "The Fish". But at the moment (this is really changing continuously) my favourite is "Not The Adventures Of Sir Roger Bloxam". Although officially unpublished, it is maybe his literally-wise most ambitious and unconventional work. Highly recommended! (Not that I get everything that's in it...)

So maybe you should expand the list first. Isn't "Ercildoune" also a novel? And aren't there more? "Atlantis"?

I'll second your nomination for 'Bloxam', Lutz…

Good point, Lutz: "Not the Life and Adventures of Sir Roger Bloxam" ought to be up there. Maybe Paul can add it?
Concerning Ercildoune, Atlantis and others, I take these to be short stories and not novels as such.

It has to be Moonchild, as unfortunately it's the only one I have read!

Well, it has to be 'Moonchild' really, doesn't it ? This occult novel has it all in abundance and is replete with magical and mystical instruction.

Chapters like "The Dark Side of the Moon" and "Walpurgis-Night" once read are never to be forgotten; whether you'd like to forget them or not!
