Dr David Shoemaker Lectures in Los Angeles:

Friday, November 9, 7:30pm (Doors open at 7pm for early arrivals.)
Location: Artworks Theatre and Studios, 6569 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038

In this entertaining presentation, Dr Shoemaker will show how the Trumps of the Thoth Tarot illustrate the various tasks, challenges and transformative processes awaiting the aspirant on the path toward awakened spiritual consciousness, known in Thelemic tradition as the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel. He will then discuss the Adept’s journey toward the inevitable ordeal of the “Abyss”.

Dr Shoemaker will also present a brief overview of the life and legacy of Soror Meral (Phyllis Seckler), whose writings he has recently co-edited. A limited number of copies of Seckler’s books will be available for sale and signing.

NOTE: Due to the uncertainties of L.A.-area traffic, we strongly recommend that you plan on arriving early. The space will be open to attendees starting at 7pm.
