Two New Works from Gary Dickinson

Members will be aware that I am a great admirer of the artistic work of Gary Dickinson…

Two new works, The Vision and In Amennti, have been created by artist Gary Dickinson as part of a long-term project to illuminate some of Crowley’s early ‘Egyptian’ works. Originals of either image, on canvas or board, can be commissioned from the artist to support the project’s on-going research and development.

The Vision represents an example of a style being developed by Gary Dickinson in the manner of J F C Fuller who was Crowley’s principle illustrator during his ‘Egyptian’ period (1904-1912). In Amennti is a re-development of an earlier work by the artist, exhibited as part of the Lost Lamen of Telepylus (2010), and is based on geometric forms and motifs found among the sigils of Liber CCXXXI.
