Tawheed is considered the foundation upon which the 'five pillars' of Islam are built. An indepth analysis of the subject is dealt with by Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips in his english work 'The Fundamentals of Tawheed (Islamic Monotheism)'. and may be considered crucial when considering the 99 names of God and thus Islamic Godforms.
